Hi, I'm Amaya.
I make the ordinary feel worth paying attention to.
I've always enjoyed observing people. Watching patterns fascinates me: the little things people do, the stories they tell themselves, and the invisible maps we all seem to carry of who we are.
Somewhere along the way, I started turning those observations into stories.
Not posts.
Not emails.
Letters. Real ones.
Paper, ink, envelopes, stamps and all.
Daakiya grew from a simple idea: perhaps something doesn't need to be important to be worth noticing. A man watering the same plant at the same time every morning. Two strangers sharing a bench without ever sharing a word. The way a whole street changes when one house leaves its light on.
Every envelope carries a little piece of someone's day, a story, a smile, a memory, or sometimes a mystery waiting to be opened.
If one of those envelopes ever finds its way to your mailbox, I hope you open it slowly.
Amaya
